In season two, Nick travels down memory lane to revisit dishes inspired by his childhood in Sicily and his adventures in the United States. During lively food preparations in his Los Angeles home, Nick brings Italian classics to life through detailed step-by-step instructions and easy-to-follow techniques. As a seasoned chef with a passion for recipes, Nick highlights an ingredient and sometimes a cooking utensil, and then expertly describes how each connects to his Sicilian culture and to Italian cuisine.

For the first time, Nick invites his viewers into his home to experience those recipes that are nearest to his heart. He travels down memory lane to revisit dishes inspired by his childhood and family in Sicily. Through step-by-step instructions and easy to follow techniques, Italian classics come to life in a way that allows viewers to prepare new chapters in their own culinary experience.

Each episode revolves around a theme, and the theme is explored in candid moments and lively preparations captured in his Los Angeles home. Nick highlights an ingredient (the artichoke!) and sometimes a cooking utensil (the spoon!) and then expertly weaves how each connects to his experience in Sicilian culture, the appeal of Italian cuisine and his perspective as a seasoned chef with a passion for the details that make a great meal.

Chef and cookbook author Nick Stellino celebrates his landmark 20th year on public television with the second season of his series, COOKING WITH NICK STELLINO. Season two continues Nick’s long-standing practice of sharing delicious recipes inspired by the traditions of his native Italy. With the home cook in mind, he demonstrates easily recreated dishes — from savory soups to authentic pasta dinners to delectable desserts — in a step-by-step fashion. Nick’s charm, warmth and humor shine through as he shares tips and techniques learned in his family’s kitchen.

 Thirteen new half-hour episodes emphasize simple, rustic Italian dishes packed with flavor, including Sicilian bread soup, linguine with red clam sauce, veal Saltimbocca, pasta alla Carbonara, Grandma’s polenta, and ossobuco. Nick also puts his stamp on biscuits and gravy, lobster mac and cheese, crab cakes, and other classic American dishes. In 1995, Stellino launched his first series, Cucina Amore, and followed it with five seasons of the APT-distributed series Nick Stellino’s Family Kitchen and two seasons of Nick Stellino Cooking With Friends.

Chef and cookbook author Nick Stellino celebrates his 20th year on public television with the lifestyle series, Cooking With Nick Stellino. Each episode opens with Nick visiting some of his favorite grocers, butchers, cheesemakers and fishmongers. While on location, he happily shares his tips and tricks for selecting the ideal ingredients and the best culinary tools for the everyday cook. 

After each shopping trip, Nick returns to his sparkling new set, modeled after his own home kitchen. With the home cook in mind, he prepares elegant yet easily recreated recipes — from savory soups to authentic pasta and rice dishes to delectable desserts — in step-by-step fashion. With his signature charm, warmth and humor, he also shares easy plating techniques and other professional tips to help viewers turn their homes into their favorite restaurant.

In each episode, Nick emphasizes fresh, seasonal and easy-to-prepare dishes that any home cook can master with ingredients found in their local supermarket. His fellow chefs also provide tips on making the final presentation worthy of the finest restaurant table.

Today, Nick Stellino has multiple television series to his credit, along with 12 published cookbooks. His cooking shows are seen on public television stations across the United States and are syndicated throughout Latin America, Eastern Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East.

Nick has made guest appearances on news and talk shows including ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s Today and The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as on Italian television.
