Gale gand steals the show with her Sicilian inspired Vita’s Ricotta Doughnuts, she is quite a gifted teacher as she walks us through the making of this delicious dessert.  Not for nothing I am no shrinking violet either as some of my favorite recipes find their way into this book like : Spaghetti and meatballs, Pan fried potatoes with peppers and shallots, Clams with sausage and tomatoes and my favorite, Pasta Al Filetto di pomodoro.
