Nick Stellino's Cauliflower with Nutmeg

Ingredients

1 pound cauliflower florests

1 1/2 cups milk

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Serves 4

Preheat the oven to 400 F. Place the cauliflower in an 8 inch square baking dish. Pour the milk over the cauliflower, sprinkle with the nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remoe the cauliflower with a slotted spoon and serve with some of the hot milk spooned on top.

Cook's Top:

The leftover milk can be strained and saved for several days in the refrigerator for use in making Bechamel Sauce. You won't need to add nutmeg to the sauce recipe.
