Printable Version

Place all the fruit in a large bowl. Combine the lemon juice, grappa and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Pour over the fruit and gently stir to coat well. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 1/2-2 hours. Serve chilled in fruit cups or over ice cream.

Cook's Tip:

Canned fruit can be substituted for any of fruits that are out of season of you can let your imagination go and try it with whatever fruits are available fresh.

Grappa is a brandy distilled from the solids left after the fermentation of wine. Unaged grappa is identifiable by its crystal clarity and should be served ice cold, while aged grappa has a golden amber color and should be served at room temperature, like a fine brandy.
