Grilled Shrimp with Sun-dried Tomato Marinade

12 pieces sun-dried tomatoes packed in olive oil
6 garlic cloves
1⁄2 onion, chopped
1 cup loosely packed parsley
1⁄3 cup white wine
1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1⁄4 teaspoon dried oregano
6 ounces olive oil
2 pounds large shrimp
Mix the marinade ingredients in a food processor and process to a cream.
Mix the shrimp with the marinade and let rest for 30 to 45 minutes. Grill on a hot barbecue for 10 to 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp
Alternatively, broil in the oven, or sauté in a hot grill pan.
