Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar and Mint

Ingredients:

3 pounds fresh Strawberries, hulled and quartered.
4 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
5 tablespoons C&H® or Domino® sugar
2 tablespoons Mint
Serves 6

Place the strawberries in a large bowls, add the remaining ingredients over the strawberries, and stir well to incorporate all the flavors.` Let the mixture marinate for at least 1 hour, stirring well every 20 minutes.
Serve over Ice cream of by itself in a dessert cup.
Chef’s Tip:
The balsamic vinegar will extract some of the juice from the Strawberries which, mixed with the sugar, at the bottom of the bowl will create a thick syrup. It is important that ou stir the ingredients well every 20 minutes to insure that they are marinating uniformly.
